CRB will have a 2 Hour Delay Today, Thursday, January 2nd, 2025 due to weather.
Due to the forecasted inclement weather the boy's and girl's varsity/jv basketball games with Paton-Churdan have been cancelled for tonight. The jr. high boys basketball game has been cancelled. No Jr. High girls or boys basketball practice. All high school practices scheduled for this afternoon will be concluded by 5:00 pm.
Parents,
This is a reminder about tonight's basketball game at home against West Harrison. The Varsity boys game will begin at 6:00 PM, followed by two-quarters of JV play.
Please note this change is due to West Harrison not having a girls' team and their limited numbers for the boys' team.
We look forward to seeing you there to support our team!
Thanks!

No School Thursday, September 26th:
The Coon Rapids-Bayard Community suffered a huge loss with the passing of Leesa Stoffers. Leesa and her husband were long time educators at our school and were highly respected in our community. Personally, I did not have the pleasure of meeting Leesa. However, from every person I have talked to about her, she was a wonderful person.
To allow our faculty, staff, and student body the opportunity to attend Mrs. Stoffer's Funeral, we will not have school on Thursday, September 26th.
Please keep Leesa's family and friends in your prayers during this difficult time.

All year, juniors in English III have been studying real-world issues in America through various pieces of literature. They are painting a real-world picture of America and evaluating how they can make a difference. Macy Thompson and Tyler Mohr see that being open minded is the key to being successful in many different areas of life. For their project, teachers were asked to nominate colleagues who allow for choice and freedom in their classrooms! Congrats to Mrs. Mohr and Mrs. Behrens for being nominated first!

They are painting a real-world picture of America and evaluating how they can make a difference. Ava LaRue and Coleman Heiderscheit have learned that one of the best ways to prevent future problems is to learn from those more experienced. It's important to keep an open mind. Here is some advice from some of our most experienced Crusaders!"

Emmy Bauer, Piper Mason, and Braydon Reineke are doing teacher features to help others learn more about how CR-B teachers are having a positive impact on their students through the implementation of various teaching strategies. Ultimately, their goal is to help promote a more diverse outlook on teaching, as they are seeing we need to embrace the diversity in our country! Here's their first teacher feature on Mrs. Wiskus.
