24-25 JR./SR. PROM
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Junior Parent Set Up:
Wednesday April 23rd
We will be transforming the multipurpose gym into an enchanted forest dinner area.
8:30 am --Kyler South & Brent Reineke will be hanging tarping and a chandelier with lights, flowers and vines to create the dining room. Once the tent is set up, we will begin putting up tables and chairs, placing table linens, centerpieces, chair covers, place settings and cups.
--Unload decorations from Holly Alex's trailer into the multipurpose gym. We will be using this as a staging area for all the decorations that Holly has so graciously donated to this year's event.
--Bring in all tables and chairs
--Pick up cocktail tables from Main Street Coon Rapids
** We already have 2 volunteers for Wednesday, we are asking for 3 more. Please let us know if you are able to help Wednesday. **
Thursday April 24th
3:45 pm --Put up wall draping in the commons and entryway
--Hang lights and draping from the commons ceiling
**This shouldn't take longer than a couple hours if we can get 6-8
volunteers** Please let us know if you are able to help on Thursday.
Friday April 25th
3:45 pm --Set up waterfall and tower in the commons and decorate
--Set up DJ table in the commons
--Set up pipe and drape units for a faux wall in the commons-north side
--Bring in and place real trees and stumps in the hallway leading to the dinner. Decorate with flowers, greenery, lights.
--Decorate breezeway into the dinner area
--Set up storybook entrance and decorate.
--Set up wanted poster area in front of the concession stand
--Set up cocktail tables in commons along east wall
--Set up arch in the gym for Grand March
**This will be a busy evening!! All hands-on deck, we will have plenty of work to do!!**

Schedule for the day of Prom -
5:30 - Students & dates drop off their belongings for the after prom in the locker rooms.
Doors open for the Grand March and Prom decoration viewing.
The grand march will be held in the gym.
The Sophomore class will be using this as a fundraiser, the admission will be 3.00 per person (Kids under 3 are free)

**NOTE: DUE TO CONFIRMATION IN BAYARD THIS YEAR BEING AT 4:30, THOSE STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED TO ARRIVE LATE. THEY WILL BE ADDED ON AT THE END OF THE GRAND MARCH**
6:15-6:45 - Grand March
There will be a short window for family and friends to take pictures after the Grand March. All students need to be in the dinner area by 7:00.
7:00-9:30 - Dinner, Dance and pictures with Alisa Venteicher.
Once the meal is concluded the dance will start in the commons. Alisa will be available from 7:15-8:30 for couples, group and class pictures. Picture packets will be available in the office on 4/15.
9:30-10:00 - Students will change into their after-prom clothes and prepare to board the bus for Des Moines. All articles are to be brought to the main door for easy pick up once we return. Only small clutch or cross body bags are permitted on the bus.
NO OUTSIDE DRINKS--DRINKS WILL BE PROVIDED ON THE BUS
** STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO TO THEIR CARS BEFORE WE DEPART FOR DES MOINES. MAKE SURE THEY HAVE EVERYTHING THEY WILL NEED TO CHANGE CLOTHES. ** Clothes, Shoes, socks, garment bags, hangers
11:30-1:30 - Spare Time in Des Moines
3:00 -Arrive back at the school.
Sophomore Prom clean up:
Hello Class of 2027 & Parents,
We are reaching out to all Sophomore students and parents about Prom cleanup. As we all know, it takes many people to pull off events such as Prom and even more to help clean up. It has been a long standing tradition at CR-B that the Sophomore class does the cleanup for the Juniors. The more help we have the quicker it will go. This will take place at 2:00 pm on Sunday April 27th at the CR-B school. Kristy and I will be there to coordinate the clean up. Clean up entails:
Packing up all decorations that can be saved for future use and taking them upstairs
Disposing of all garbage
Transporting tables back to the fairgrounds
Taking down all wall drapes and wiring
Sweeping floors
Setting up lunch tables
Packing up Holly Alex's trailer with the decorations that were lent to us
